IT’S HAPPENING: BORDER PATROL ENCOUNTERS FIRST CARAVAN-RELATED VIOLENCE

Border Patrol brokers have arrested a migrant who threw rocks at officers as he tried to prevent arrest.

No brokers were being injured or struck, but the man did manage to established a tree afire.

The Border Patrol described the primary big instance of migrant caravan-linked violence Saturday, expressing a Honduran male threw rocks at agents to try to help keep from being arrested Friday in Arizona.

The 31-year-outdated, whom authorities didn’t identify, experienced climbed a tree to try to stay away from seize, then lit the tree afire and began to throw rocks with the brokers as well as a helicopter named in to help keep track of him.

Neither the agents nor the helicopter had been hit via the projectiles.

The man was eventually arrested, and brokers stated he explained to them he was Section of the migrant caravan that were from the information. They stated he experienced preceding arrests from the U.S. and had been deported again in June.

A local fire Division needed to be termed to extinguish the fireplace.
