In an act of pure graciousness, First lady Melania Trump spent some time giving back to the community by visiting with children and the USMC on Tuesday. The visit was in part to help promote their Toys For Tots drive.
Mrs. Trump tweeted out a collection of wonderful photos, each more beautiful than the one before. Of course, our First lady was as stunning as ever, wearing a beautiful red, white, and blue plaid shirt and dark pants.
Included with the photos was the caption:
“Enjoyed spending time with children & the @USMC at their annual @ToysForTots_USA drive. Thank you to everyone who came out to help in this wonderful opportunity to give back! #MerryChristmas”
She spent most of her time interacting with the young ones in the crowd. But she also took some time to shake hands and chat with fine members of our military and others in the crowd.
This isn’t the first time this holiday season that Mrs. Trump has been lovely enough to share some cheers with those in need. Most recently, during the somber moments of the late George HW Bush, Melania opened her heart and the doors to the White House for the entire Bush family (and in particular to laura Bush) to take in the Christmas decorations.
Laura Bush was quick to thank the current first lady for her kindness and generosity:
The two of them can be seen in photos sharing the moment in what seems to be a sweet friendship. It’s wonderful to see two women of pure class coming together in troubling times to celebrate the holiday together.
Melania always manages to prove just how wonderful she is as our current First lady. Always looking beautiful and inspiring those around her.
Here’s what Americans had to say about the whole ordeal:
